Cloud Security Specialist 

• Take part of the development, implementation, and automation of comprehensive cloud security policies and governance, aligning with current cloud security frameworks and industry best practices.
• Continuous improvement of cloud security governance and policies – protecting resources deployed on the cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with IT and Security teams to integrate cloud security measures with the overall security strategy, assisting cross-functional initiatives where necessary.
• Participate in a variety of security assessments and audits, including penetration testing and compliance reviews, to ensure adherence to policies and standards.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud security and support both the cloud security and cloud teams, and assisting the Cloud Security Architect on new cloud architectural decisions.
• Support the response to security incidents, focusing on mitigation strategies and refining security policies to prevent future incidents.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, developing a prioritized list of mitigation activities using current governance frameworks and policy enforcement.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance expertise in cloud security and contribute to the cloud team center of knowledge.
• 3rd level support IT operations and the Cloud teams in issues and optimization areas on existing deployed governance and policies.

• A relevant degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cloud security governance, risk management, and policy development.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including networking, storage, and compute functionalities.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks relevant to cloud environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure security services and tools.
• Understanding of security best practices and committed to continuous professional development in the field of cloud security.
• A collaborative mindset, with a focus on working within cross-functional teams to achieve common security goals.

Our cloud services are primarily hosted on Microsoft Azure, and we operate within a hybrid cloud model as part of our IT transformation journey.
