 DevOps Engineer 

In the role as DevOps Engineer in our Mobile App Development team within GN Hearing, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will support and evolve the delivery and operations of mobile applications used by our hearing aid users worldwide by building scalable DevOps pipelines, improving deployment automation, and enabling secure and reliable application releases.

The team you will be part of

You will join GN Hearing’s Mobile App Development team – a cross-functional group of mobile developers, test and automation engineers, UX designers, product managers, and audiologists. Together, we design and build mobile applications that connect users with GN Hearing’s devices and services.
We work in agile Scrum teams within a SAFe framework and value collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. We integrate a focus on innovation and a constructive approach, supporting one another through obstacles, design considerations, and iterative advancements.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps and SDKs to enable fast, reliable, and compliant delivery
  • Operate mobile release engineering for iOS and Android, including app store releases, signing/provisioning, and build runners
  • Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code for scalable, automated deployment
  • Partner with development, QA, and test teams to automate build, test, and deployment using modern DevOps practices
  • Implement and operate monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management for applications and infrastructure
  • Ensure secure and compliant deployments, including vulnerability handling, patching, and risk mitigation
  • Participate in incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements
  • Continuously improve our DevOps processes, toolchain, and automation patterns.

AI, agents, and tool integration

  • Design, build, and operate AI tools and agents (including MCP-based backends) integrated with platforms such as Figma, Firebase/Analytics, and Smartling
  • Define secure guardrails and champion AI-driven ways of working across teams.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Have experience with DevOps practices for mobile or web applications
  • Demonstrate confidence working with macOS build environments for iOS and cross-platform builds
  • Have experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform or Ansible)
  • Are familiar with modern DevOps toolchains (e.g., Git, Jenkins/GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Bring scripting capability (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy)
  • Understand monitoring and alerting stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Are comfortable working with mobile development tooling (e.g., .NET, MAUI, Xcode, Android Studio, Rider)
  • Understand security considerations for mobile and cloud applications
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate well across functions and disciplines
  • Are organized, solution-oriented, and motivated by continuous improvement.

It is beneficial if you also:

  • Hold a relevant academic background within computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • Have experience with vulnerability frameworks (OWASP, CVSS/CWE/CVE)
  • Have experience with platforms such as Figma, Firebase/Analytics, or Smartling
  • Possess experience or a keen interest in AI tools and their integration into engineering processes.
