Global Workday Process & Security Specialist

As a Workday Secialist, your role will be to enhance our mission of Bringing People Closer by optimizing the use of Workday’s features and improving our processes. Your core focus areas include module implementations and configuration, business process optimization as well as well as the administration of system roles and security. This global specialist role will be based in either Ballerup, Denmark or Warsaw, Poland, and will play a crucial part in ensuring our HR system and processes are both user-friendly, efficient and compliant.

The team you will be part of:
You will join the People Technology & Analytics team, a lean and fantastic group of HR processes, systems and insights specialists who constantly seek to empower GN with advanced HR technology and insightful analytics, ensuring data integrity, process efficiency and a transformative employee experience. Although you will have unique focus areas in your role, you will – as everyone on the team - also serve as a utility player. This means that we as team members all act on the needs and priorities of the business and we cover for each other whenever needed.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Assist in the rollout of new Workday Modules and ongoing feature enhancements (including test management)
- Co-manage the review and implementations following the half-yearly release cycle of Workday
- Review, reconfigure and optimize Workday business processes to match business needs
- Provide support for system administration and security to ensure peak performance and reliability of Workday and downstream systems
- Act as Point of Contact for support tickets related to technical Workday issues
- Collaborate with the People Analytics Manager to deliver advanced reporting and analytics capabilities
- Support our HR Centres of Excellence in optimizing and steer their annual and operational processes
- Develop and support change management efforts to make our People & Culture Partners, Managers and Employees understand changes impacting them and their specific responsibilities
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Workday and proactively identify opportunities to enhance our offerings and processes
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you probably come with a good portion of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., HR, Business Administration and Information Technology)
- A work history from either consulting or a medium to large sized global corporate
- Solid experience in HRIS management, process configuration and change management
- Experience with Workday is a prerequisite
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Shows significant self-motivation, actively engages in tasks and capable of excelling autonomously or within a team framework
